An entertaining sergeant’s session by Bruce Couch raised over $200 towards an ERK for Philippines Cyclone victims. See a page from RNZWCS website about Rotary's participation in Cyclone relief here.
Through applying for funding grants to the Nikau Foundation the club has received $15,000.00 towards the Ration Creek Bridge on the Pathway.
Joy Allcock’s next training day is on Monday 25 November from 3.30-7.30 pm to train the primary teachers around Porirua City in preparation for the Massey University initiative that will start in the first term of 2014. Wendy Betteridge has offered the assistance of our Club members to help with serving a meal at about 5.30 pm. We will be able to listen in to the wonderful wisdom being imparted.
