Treasurer, Bruce Couch tells us that the subs for the coming year will be $270. This is a reduction as we do not have an exchange student this year.

The Charitable Trust Trustees for this year are President Donna, Immediate Past President Jenny, President Elect Euon, Bill McAulay, and Phillip Reidy.

Leigh Corner is proposing a wasp eradication project using a grant from our Trust to set it up. It’s a great community environmental project to follow up the pathway.

Gillies McIndoe Research Institute have invited distinguished neurosurgeon and neuroscientist at The University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Professor Andrew Kaye AO MBBS MD FRACS to speak about 'Brain Tumours: The Last 50 Years' at 5.00 – 6.15pm (arrival at 4.45pm) on  Thursday 13 September at Rutherford House Lecture Theatre 2 (RHLT2) Pipitea Campus, Victoria University of Wellington, Bunny Street, Wellington. On 24 July, David Grant will talk to us about the fourteen conscientious objectors who were taken against their will to the front-line on France in July 1917.

On 31 July, Russell Jenkins from the Wellington Tramway Museum will talk to us about the work of the Museum
and Wellington's tram history.
