Rotary Club of PlimmertonTeams in the know
Quiz Master David Knight asked eight rounds of questions on various topics and after each round there was an early picture of a prominent person to identify. Teams were entered by Inner Wheel, Porirua Sundown Rotary, Port Nicholson Rotary, Plimmerton Rotary and Zonta. The teams were highly competitive and everyone was amazed how much they knew, or didn’t know!
Teams of 5 peoplefrom each team worked together to answer the questions and supper was served after 4 rounds.

Over $1,000 was raised to go towards our 'Grant a Wish” programme for schools and the Children’s Christmas Party. Our thanks go to David Knight,Graeme Blick and their team for a job well done.
Next week
On 9 September our guest speaker will be Judge John Walker from the Porirua Youth Court. Judge John Walker was recently reported as saying that Youth offending in Porirua and elsewhere is reducing. We will be given an update on what is happening in our Courts, and why.
