Pauline for President

Pauline and SteveWhitby resident, Pauline Lowe, was recently inducted as the 2014/2015 President of the Plimmerton Inner Wheel. Pauline and her husband Steve have lived in the area for some years.

Inner Wheel, which is one of the largest women’s service voluntary organisations in the world, is active in over 103 countries with 100,000 members worldwide.  The Inner Wheel focus on true friendship, personal service and fostering International understanding provides a wonderful platform for women to become involved in a wide range of activities which actively support our local, national and international communities – and have fun while doing so! The chain of office was handed over by 2013-2014 President Debbie Howard.

Pauline was awarded the highest International Inner Wheel Award, the Margarette Golding Award, for the work she and her husband are involved in, in Hubli, India. Providing a home for orphan children, free pre-school and primary school education along with free training in tailoring and sewing for over 300 women has seen many lives changed for the good.
