The Book Fair is looming and Allan Nichols is requesting assistance for book collection and sorting.  He is doing rosters to spread the load. 

Men’s Shed
A rent-free home has been found for the Men’s Shed at Trash Palace at the Spicer Tip. It is clean with work benches, a good toilet and a tea room. A public meeting will be held on 26 January at 7pm at the Porirua Club.

Transport for Student
A lad from Aotea needs transport to Petone Tech 4-5 days /week for about two months. If he were to get public transport he would have to leave home very early, but getting back is no problem.

Drinks at Co-op in Whitby
Drinks on the last Friday of the month will recommence on 27 January.

Conference in New Plymouth
Bookings for activities like golf, etc., can be made on the Conference website.

Next week’s meeting is a Robbie Burns night. Wear your tartan and bring your partners and your bagpipes.

Inner Wheel Pizza & Plonk
The annual social event to kick start the year will happen at Reidy's Ration Creek Orchard on Paekakariki Hill Road on Monday 23 January from 4.30pm. $15 a head and BYO drink.

Accommodation Needed
Lucie FIERDEHAICHE from France is doing an internship in Wellington (April to June 2017) and she is looking for an accommodation.
