Preparation is well in hand and boxes of books are being sorted and moved for the Big Weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, 22 and 23 March 2014, from 9.00-4.30 each day, you’ll find Plimmerton Rotarians at The Kennel Club in Prosser Street, Elsdon, Porirua City. In a huge warehouse, they’ll have literally thousands of books that you can browse through and choose from.
Everything is great value and every cent you pay will go to Life Education Trust – or to one of the community or youth development projects supported by The Rotary Club of Plimmerton.
In order to prepare for the Fair, we’d like you to donate as many, good quality, used books, CDs or DVD’s as you can spare, to support our worthy causes. Fossick through your cupboards, clear some space and bring as much as you can spare to one of our outlets. Talk to all your friends and neighbours and encourage them to clear out the old to make room for the new.
You can take them to The Professionals Real Estate offices at Whitby Mall, 3 Lydney Place, Porirua or 105 Mana Esplanade, Paremata. If you have simply heaps of books, and can’t drop them off, you can ring 2347116 and we’ll arrange for someone to pick them up.
