Return Polio Money Boxes at next Club meeting

A Pathway Working Bee will happen at Ration Point on Saturday 15 March, 9.30 – 12.30.  More details and info nearer the time.

The next stage of Pathway construction is under way and an Opening Ceremony will occur in late March with the function to be held at the Lighthouse in Pauatahanui.

The annual visit to Whitby Bowling Club is on Tuesday 18 March.  Les Austing has everything ready for the demon bowlers from the club and will be on hand to offer guidance where needed.

MaikeOur Exchange Student, Maike, eloquently thanked the Club members for their hospitality to her parents when they were here in Wellington last week.  They attended Inner Wheel’s  very successful Wild Sunday and it was a delight to meet them.

 

JennyIt is still not too late to register for District Conference in  Foxton in March. The cut-off date is 1 March. The Tee-shirts featured will be worn by attendees when doing community work at the Conference. 

 LETS will be held at Conference on Sunday 23 March - for incoming Board and other members interested in attending.

Irrawaddy RiverGwyn and Wendy Akeroyd visited Burma recently and his colourful presentation to the Club on 'Up The Creek in Burma' documented their cruise up the Irrawaddy River.
