Firewood Project

One of the ways in which Plimmerton Rotary raises money they can donate to local and international causes is by turning fallen trees into trailer loads of firewood that are available to the local Community.

Selected days are spent working with a log-splitter, turning some of the large collection of cut logs into sizes appropriate for burning in domestic fires. The wood that is split will be dried and made available for sale to keep the purchasers warm during the winter months.

Anyone is welcome to join the Firewood team. It's good exercise and provides extra dollars which can be distributed to the community. Contact us if you'd like to help or if you'd like to order some firewood.
