The Paul Harris Fellowship Sapphire Pin Award to Angus Langbein reads as follows:

Angus is a Rotarian of long-standing and will celebrate 50 years of membership and service in November 2018.

In the Rotary Club of Plimmerton, Angus has held many positions including that of President. He participates in all club projects and activities including the International Student Exchange programme, as a host and as the father of an outbound student sponsored by this club.

His real area of interest is in things environmental, from Trees for Survival to Keep Porirua Beautiful, and the Pauatahanui Inlet Clean-up which he has championed for Plimmerton Rotary for many years. Lately, as a member of the Inlet Pathway committee his experience has been invaluable.

Today we have the honour and pleasure of recognising Angus Langbein as he becomes a Paul Harris Fellow with Sapphire Pin as a special expression of appreciation from The Rotary Club of Plimmerton.

Special Honour for Angus Langbein
